Another nearly week. A first half of plenty of promise, the lions share of possession and the better of the chances for United ended nil-nil. Half time talk pretty simply, 'keep doing what you're doing and be patient', but for some reason we were slow out of the blocks, defended deeper and deeper and when the goal came it was no real surprise. The second came straight after and seemed to kill the girls spirit.
Gosport went 3 up after a breakaway goal before Shaggy, on as a second half sub, pulled one back with a superb long range effort that gave the keeper no chance.
United pushed forward in hope of a come back and were caught to far forward as Gosport sealed the win with a fourth goal that, once again, left a rather flattering scoreline.
