What can we say? not the best performance from the girls this week. The first half United looked a yard off the pace against a Wey Valley team that flattered to deceive. It did seem though that every time they attacked they were going to score and the four - nil half time score line would suggest that was the case. A serious, and well deserved, berrating from Phil at half time seemed to shake the girls into life and they began to play a bit of football in the oppositions half. The three second half goals were actually against the run of play and we were treated to a glimpse of the Jekyll side of United as opposed to the Hyde of the first half.
We need the real Hayling Ladies to turn up from the first minute next week. Time to stand up and be counted girls.
POM this week was Angie Bundy, did well in midfield in trying to orchestrate Uniteds forward movement, oh and the kit was very clean!
